Michiru
I am a young woman in my twenties residing in the Houston, TX area. When I'm not working or pursuing a career in art, I enjoy playing instruments, composing music, voice acting (of course), writing, and reading, among other things. I view Japanese animation and comics every once in a while, and play video games on occasion. My favorite manga series overall is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (I love CLAMP) and I namely enjoy games from the Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Super Mario series. I also play Super Smash Brothers with my younger brother when we get the chance.
VOICE
My voice is naturally medium to medium-high (see the main page for a voice clip), and I am capable of female voices ranging from medium-low to high. I am most suited to characters that are calm, quiet, and soft-spoken; I am working to improve my ability to voice more outgoing, energetic characters. As for singing, I am capable, but I'm not especially gifted, nor do I have any training. My singing voice is similar to my regular voice: soft and medium to medium-high pitched. Kind of girlish.

BACKGROUND
I discovered voice acting through an online acquaintance in the late nineties. I was very impressed after listening to the sound and video clips on her resume, and I was inspired to try voice acting myself. I was cast as Tsukino Usagi in a short Sailor Moon clip and Tomoe Hotaru in a Sailor Moon Stars fandub, among other characters (I only had four to five roles altogether). I was very busy with school and extracurricular activities, however, so I eventually had to push voice acting aside. I never really lost interest, I just didn't have the time.
Then recently, someone posted an audition of theirs for a Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon fandub on a forum that I frequent. My life is much less hectic now, so I thought, "Well, why not?" I auditioned for another character in the same fandub. I had fun recording the lines, so I browsed the Voice Acting Alliance forums to find other projects to audition for. And so here I am. Despite my minimal experience, I consider myself new to voice acting, as it has been many years since I've voice acted until recently. Voice acting is a hobby for me; I don't aspire to become a professional. However, I want to reach my full potential in everything I attempt, so of course, I'm trying my best. I'm having a lot of fun experimenting and trying to improve.
